I came accross several posts describing that a model was set up using VMS in Elmer. My question is: how do I do that? I saw k-epsilon in the solvers but nothing related to VMS. Is this an add-on? How do I install it? Is it a solver option? Where would I find it?
Thanks

nglib mesh configuration parameters
I am meshing a ago file in elmergui. The "max h" parameter is covered in the tutorials but the other two are not as far as I could find. Does anybody know what those do?
Secondly, is there a way to mesh finer close to boundaries than elsewhere within elmergui?

Pressure in incompressible fluids - units and density
I am running a simulation using an incompressible, high viscosity fluid. My problem is that I can not figure out what units the pressure output is. I am using consistently mm for dimensions, kg for mass and s for time. From basic bernoulli I expected that pressure p = density * velocity, so in my un...

HELP for noobie, please
I am new to Elmer (and FEA for that matter) and I have a silly problem: I am trying to generate a simple 2D mesh in gmsh (shaped kind of like a bottle) and want to load this mesh into ElmerGUI and do Navier Stokes with it. I saved (what I think is) a 2D mesh as .msh from gmsh. ElmerGrid can crate a ...
