Re: error DetectExtrudeStructure
Hey all - I tried adding the -decimal flag and adding more decimal places when converting my gmsh generated mesh, .msh to the .mesh for running with the .sif file. No luck there. I also tried setting the dot product tolerance to the default value of 1e-4 for both the StructuredMeshMapper and Structu...

Re: error DetectExtrudeStructure
Thomas - I tried putting the keyword into the StructuretoPlane solver section. If I increase the dot product tolerance to values > 10 the .sif runs, but only goes through one iteration and outputs garbage. That would be expected, poking around elsewhere in the elmer forums, the dot product tolerance...

error DetectExtrudeStructure
Hey all - I am doing some simple flow-line modelling in a relatively small model domain. I created an extruded mesh using gmsh. Any time I make a mesh with a resolution of less than 10 meters for either my z or x resolution, I get thrown the error DetectExtrudedStructure when I run my . sif file. MA...

Re: error DetectExtrudeStructure
Hey all - Thought I'd post issue here since I have been thrown the same error. I am doing some simple flow-line modelling in a relatively small model domain. I have been creating an extruded mesh using gmsh. Any time I chose a mesh resolution of less than 10 meters for either my z or x resolution, I...

Re: ctest failures
Olivier, It appears both GridDataReader and ScatterDataInterpolator were not installed with elmer and need to be installed separately. That makes sense since the ctests for each function failed immediately. I am going to follow the directions on github to install both functions and see if that fixes...

Hey all, I just finished an install of elmer and elmer/ice on a fresh Ubuntu 14.04.5 OS(virtual machine). I installed elmer following the installation instructions for Ubuntu 14.04 found in the forum: http://www.elmerfem.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3742 I used the cmake-gui as I found it more ...
