Re: Parallel Hydrology With Multiple Meshes
All fixed now. Turned out to be a bit of code I'd written that was having some very odd knock-on effects that I still don't fully understand.

Parallel Hydrology With Multiple Meshes
I've set up Elmer to work with GlaDS on multiple meshes. It works perfectly fine in serial, but, in parallel, the hydraulic potential results from the very first iteration start to diverge. It's not a question of some partitions not being calculated properly - I still get a smooth field with the rig...

Re: GlaDS channels with an extruded mesh
As an update on where we are with this, at the recent Advanced Elmer/Ice Workshop, Olivier and I tested internally and externally-extruded meshes and confirmed that the issue was that edge element weren't being re-created on the internally-extruded mesh after extrusion. Externally-extruded meshes wo...

Re: GlaDS channels with an extruded mesh
Hi Olivier If you've got a 3D mesh available, sure - I've always done stuff using the internal extrusion feature, so I'm not entirely sure how to make a 3D mesh outside of Elmer. But, if your tests using an already-3D mesh worked and mine using internal extrusion didn't, seems likely that it's the i...

GlaDS channels with an extruded mesh
I'm working on a 2D mesh that's being internally-extruded in Elmer using MeshExtrude to a 3D mesh, and getting it to work with channels in the GlaDS hydrology solvers. Initially, this returns a 'Matrix Not Associated' error for GlaDSchannelSolver, as the mesh extrusion doesn't retain the edges prope...
