Re: H-B curve data input error
No it needs to be in the working directory with the sif and mesh files.

Re: H-B curve data input error
I would use the free text input field. You can either put the whole material in the text file or just the curve.

Re: WhitneyAVHarmonicSolver - "unphysical" solution
I use salome, and in this case I mesh the end with quads and extrude it into solids. If you create groups of the quads, they extrude into the different bodies.

Re: Can't I use a 2nd order mesh with the acoustic solver?
If you run the test case
https://github.com/ElmerCSC/elmerfem/tr ... HarmonicNS
but try second order elements with
ElmerGrid 1 2 tube.grd -increase
than the same error appears.

Re: Coupled Fluid-Structure Eigen Analysis
I used basic formula firstmode.png Which gives 81.60 Hz for this model in vacuum. Ix = (bh^3)/12 = 8.333E-5 , E=200E9, L = 1, rho 7850, mass of beam = 0.1*7850 = 785 and from a text book the add mass for water at 1000 kg/m^2 for a rectangular beam cross section, the 1 meter depth in and out of the 2...

Re: Using coilsolver eddy effects are not shown.
This solver tries to provide numerical means for setting the coil current. The idea is that the computed current density (or potential) may then be used in further simulations of magnetic fields. Now the natural way to create the currents is to solve a static current conduction equation. Unfortunate...
