Re: compilation error with mmg
Hi,
is there a particular reason why you want to build Elmer from source? There are binaries in a ppa repository here: https://launchpad.net/~elmer-csc-ubuntu ... er-csc-ppa.

Re: dividing bodies from multybody mesh
Hi, the ElmerGUI viewer having its shortcomings, you might convert the Elmer mesh to gmsh format using ElmerGrid and inspect the mesh with gmsh. You can also open mesh.names to inspect the boundary and body names. And a stupid question: You did open the mesh converted by ElmerGrid with File->load me...

Re: Tetgen plugin
Hi,
what do you need tetgen for?
Standard workflow ist to make the mesh with a dedicated mesher like gmsh or Salomé and import it into Elmer.

Re: Unlisted Keywords in ElmerSolver
Hi, looking quickly at your sif, I didn't find any obvious mistake. Generally speaking unlisted keywords are not a problem as long as their type is declared and they are correctly used. Two observations, however: 1. are you sure that "scaler field" is the correct spelling? Shouldn't it be ...

Hi,
I just installed Elmer successfully on a Win 10 Pro desktop machine, see viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6985. Did you take the nightly build as I did? If not, you might try it, it may work better.

Re: New Windows installers
Update: I managed to find qwindows.dll in the right version and copied it into a platforms folder in the bin directory. The error message is the same, but now it additionnally says that a platform plugin for windows is found. In a forum I have found the remark that if the application is compiled in ...

Re: New Windows installers
Hi, I tried to find out something about the qt issue. It might have to do with the deployment process of qt. It seems that for Windows, qwindows.dll is needed, and that it has to reside in $ELMERHOME\bin\platforms. I didn't find a possibility to download the dll in the right version (5.13.2) without...
