Hi,
Thank you for the suggestion. I think the solution is either numerical (modifying residual), changing material properties close to terminals, or figuring out how to set up the current distribution.

Re: WhitneyAVHarmonicSolver and Electric Current Density
Hello Rich, The case runs without issues from a terminal. Elmer version - Rev: Release, Compiled: 2023-06-21 ElmerSolver highFreq.sif ElmerSolver lowFreq.sif Hello fjimenez, I know about setting potential. Also, fixed current density can be set through circuits. The current task is to find a solutio...

WhitneyAVHarmonicSolver and Electric Current Density
Hello, https://img001.prntscr.com/file/img001/fU42PWWrRY2L491w3A51Jw.png The current density can be set either as Electric Current Density = Real 100.0 for current density distribution on the terminal or Electric Current Density = -distribute 100.0 as the total current through the face. At low frequ...

Re: Blue screen crash in Windows
Thanks, Rich, for offering help. The case is large, and the issue happens only on one computer out of many. So chances are low that you will reproduce it. These are a few ideas that we already tested: - Not enough PSU power - Version of Elmer More tests to do: - BIOS update - Changing CPU on the sam...

Blue screen crash in Windows
Hi,
Have you ever encountered a Blue screen (crash) in Windows while running Elmer in parallel?
I suspect MPI causes this because it is the only software with admin rights.
Also, if you know how to debug such cases, let everyone know.
Thanks!

Re: Error During EOF-Library Installation
Hello Matias,
A few days ago, there was a pull request with fixes for OF v9 and v10. I merged them just now.
Could you please check if it works with those changes?
Thanks.

It was written to work in 3D, not sure about 2D.
Do you have a 3D test?

Re: Core Loss Calculation
Add this solver after calc fields. It will compute time-dependent core loss. Add core loss properties in solver: Solver ... Equation = "MGDynamicsCalc" Procedure = "MagnetoDynamics" "MagnetoDynamicsCalcFields" Linear System Symmetric = True Potential Variable = String &...

Re: Core Loss Calculation
The GSE approach works for sinusoidal excitations. Plus it can account for non-linear magnetic properties.
Let me know if you want to try it out.
