Basal Friction cooling

Post by denis.cohen »

Hello,

I am getting strange results when I turn on basal friction. My bed is cooler (lower temperature) than if I don't have basal friction.
I suspected the other way around.
I've been following the instructions on the wiki to set it up.
Has anyone noticed such behavior? Is there a sign problem?

Thanks

Denis

Hi Denis,
with the help of Joe we found a bug in USF_GetFrictionHeat.f90 that might explain your problems. We have a new version and we are testing it at the moment. I will send a message to the list once things are completely fixed and a test-case has been set up.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Thomas
