Hiii team,
In the attachment I tried to apply axial load in beam with geometric nonlinearity..I changed load every time and found out the value of displacement at end point..But it's showing linear relationship..Even at high load displacement without nonlinearity is coming more than nonlinear one... which should be just opposite...Is there anything wrong in this?

Re: Geometric nonlinearity of axial member
I don't know of any geometric axial non-linear behavior in tension. Especially with displacements that small. IN compression their could be buckling.
