Hello everybody,
The video is my work on a project in the school. It is about FEM thermal analysis.

Since I integrated ElmerSolver and ElmerGrid to my project, I want to thank the Elmer development team.
I really had fun working on this.
I didn't release or publish my work. At this point I did this just for fun.
School project based on ElmerSolver and ElmerGrid.
Re: School project based on ElmerSolver and ElmerGrid.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that this will be part of my master thesis. Is there anything I need to pay attention to or anything the Elmer team wants me to do if I am going to publish my thesis? I already listed the Elmer webpage in the reference list.

Hi,
very nice! Is your work on the Elmer module of FreeCAD?
I have seen a similar posting of you on the Salomé forum. Where did you use Salomé? I have the impression that everything is done inside FreeCAD.
I would be interested in learning more on how you proceeded. Is there any documentation, forum discussion or the like about your project?

Roy,
Great work.
In order to cite Elmer in your thesis work, you can cite one or more of the articles, books, manuals or conferences proceedings published using Elmer software or describing Elmer software.
To get the list of these publications, you can visit:
1. https://www.csc.fi/web/elmer/white-papers
2. https://scholar.google.com/citations?us ... l=en&oi=ao
3. https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Pe ... ev=brs_act
4. https://scholar.google.com/citations?us ... AAAJ&hl=en
5. https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Pe ... ev=brs_act
and so the list goes on and on .
Yours Sincerely,
Anil Kunwar

Re: School project based on ElmerSolver and ElmerGrid.
HI Matthias,
My module in FreeCAD is called "Thermal Freetop".
Actually, I'm still working on getting the Salome integrated with FreeCAD "tightly". Since I was in a hurry to get things done, I adopted some quick and dirty methods to have Salome work, with some Python scripts in Thermal Freetop module.
At this point there is no actual docs describing the implementation of my work in detail. If I get time I will keep working on this.
Thanks,
Yu Tso (Roy)

Hello Anil Kunwar,
Thanks for the suggestion. I will find some appropriate terms in the links you gave me and list them in my master thesis.
