Hello,
I am looking to implement the Turek Hron Benchmark case in Elmer (both CFD and CSM). Would I need to interface Elmer with OpenFOAM?
While looking for similar problems on Elmer, I found this - http://illinoisrocstar.github.io/ElmerF ... turek.html
Thank you for any suggestions you can provide.

Turek Hron Benchmark case in Elmer (both CFD and CSM)
Re: Turek Hron Benchmark case in Elmer (both CFD and CSM)
Matthias,
I had posted the question under the wrong topic, so I re-posted it here. The intention was not to post it twice.
In regards to the Turek Hron Benchmark case which involves both CFD and CSM, would I need to couple Elmer with OpenFOAM?
Thank you for any information you can provide.

Hi,
I don't know anything about the Turek Hron Benchmark.
Coupling of Elmer and OpenFoam is possible, see viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5260&p=18382 and viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4999&p=18414.
HTH,
Matthias

Hi Anjali,
The Turek Hron benchmark is intended to be very difficult requiring special techniques. It would be a challenge to obtain convergence with any two loosely coupled software. You don't need OpenFOAM here since the fluid problem is not too difficult. It is the coupling that is the tricky part.
