Problem with boundary condition

I am solving an elastic problem which has a boundary able to deform in one direction only. I wonder if there's a way to tell elmer to restrict the boundary in that way. Thanks.

Why won't you set the displacement in the other two directions to zero. That should take care of that.

Excuse me, what i meant was to allow movement in only one way, like x<0.

For nonequality constraints such as u_x < 0 there is the possibility to use contact model.

If you mean that the velocity must never be positive i.e. du_x/dt<0, then there is no existing solution.
