Good morning Dear Community,
I want to run one simulation in Elmer with the Level set method by using MUMPS, as I have said in viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7525&p=25352#p25352, nevertheless, I don't know how to install MUMPS on my virtual machine Ubuntu 20.04. Is there the possibility to use this pack on a windows machine too? Thanks in advance for your answers.
Regards,
Andrea

Hi
MUMPS is already included if you got your virtual machine from here:
https://www.nic.funet.fi/pub/sci/physic ... lMachines/
It seems to be also available for Windows but we haven't had the resources to add it to the build. Didn't work out of the box.

Fedora is not Debian based, so how did you install Elmer on your Fedora system?

I don't know because the IT department of my institute installed Elmer.

Generally Fedora you have to compile Elmer as there is not an available binary. To get Mumps with Elmer it has to be compiled with Elmer, so I suppose Elmer would have to be reinstalled by IT with Mumps included.
