Begin from a model of problem.

Post by fabioit »

Hi!

Is it possible to start with a model of problem already saved in past?
For example:
I want to begin with equation of Linear elasticity already choosen,
and Steel as material, two kind of boudary condition: 1 fixed, 1 forced...

Then I've only to load my new model and meshing

thank you

Hi,

you can load a new mesh into an existing project (if that is what you want to do). You have to check if the assignments of materials, body forces and equations to the bodies are still correct, and you have to set the boundaries for the boundary conditions anew.

The hint with the boundary reassignment was very important! Thanks a lot. I only got crashes without info until finding this.
