Hello,
I have to simulate the electric potential of each node of a 3D resistive part under continous supply voltage.
I think it is reaelly simple but I don't if is it possible to do this with ELMER?
Electrical simulation
Re: Electrical simulation
Hi,
yes this is possible. The solver to use is the static current solver.
You can start by studying the ElmerGUI manual and also have a look into the tutorials, although there is no tutorial using the GUI with the static current solver. If you install Elmer and want to use this solver in the GUI, you have to copy statcurrent.xml from bin/edf-extra to bin/edf in the Elmer installation directory.
