Thanks for your suggestion Peter, I usually complicate things.

Membrane stretching due to negative pressure in a "microfluidic" device
This is a repost from a discussion I started on Contributed Cases. I am interested in simulating a membrane stretching due to collapsing channels in response to negative pressure. These channels are independent. The channel where the region of interest is located is in contact with a fluid. It is an...

I get the same error on Mac. Could be a memory allocation problem. Can you upload your Terminal output on Pastebin and share it here?

Re: Membrane stretching due to negative pressure in a "microfluidic" device
I thought I would be able to add the mesh and the rest of the steps in the days following the post but I returned to the tutorials to check if I missed anything. I solved my mesh translation problem but I am still unable to apply boundary conditions.

Membrane stretching due to negative pressure in a "microfluidic" device
I wish to simulate membrane stretching due to collapsing channels in response to negative pressure. The stretched membrane is also in contact with fluid. It is an enclosed device with three channels, two channels to generate membrane deformation and a middle channel with an inlet and outlet for cont...

Re: Homebrew installation on Mac
Hello, I am new to Elmer and stuck with what I think is an installation problem. I downloaded the latest version of MUMPS and Elmer via Homebrew as of today. I'm running macOS 10.15.2. The GUI runs, but when I start the solver I get this error: dyld: Symbol not found: __cg_jpeg_resync_to_restart Re...

Re: ERROR:: AddEquationSolution: > MG Levels < must be defined for geometric multigrid
Hi, I saw you use the following preconditioner in your .sif file "Linear System Preconditioning = Multigrid" You may try to either provide the multigrid level, or simply change the preconditioner to "Linear System Preconditioning = ILUT" -Chenyang Thanks Chenyang! Changing from ...
