Frozen Permeability in Magnetostatic possible?

Post by gm21 »

Dear Elmer Experts,

for my studies I'd like to apply the "frozen permeability method" [1] to separate the contribution of two coil systems in a nonlinear magnetostatic problem.

As an Elmer newbie I was not able to figure out, whether this is currently possible within Elmer.

Thanks for any hints,

gm21

As far as I am informed the "Frozen Permeability" method is used in Ansys Maxwell to calulate self and mutual inductances. This is connected to my other question on this forum on "Calculation of self and mutual inductance for PMSM machines".
