Cogging torque analysis of BLDC PM motor
Does anyone know how to perform Cogging torque analysis of BLDC PM motor in Elmer GUI??

Hi
Simplest way is to provide "r inner" and "r outer" for the airgap body such that the mortar interface should be included between them. This activates "Arkkios method" see

There are also other ways that involve computation of nodal forces and their grouping and reduction. Check the consistency tests for 2D machines, the logic is pretty much same in 3D.
