Hi
Save in Finap Neutral format (.FDNEUT), if still supported, and use ElmerGrid 7 2 mesh.FDNEUT or open in ElmerGUI directly.

Exporting as FIDAP from Gambit worked. However, I'm not getting any edges during import to ElmerGui. So if the aim is to perform a 2D case one needs to actually do a very thin 3D case ?

Hi, why won't you sent, preferably a rather small, 2D case for me to inspect. Its true that most cases have been 3D but 2D should work as well.
