H-B curve data input error

Post by agreatjourney247 »

Hello all,

I'm getting an error inputting H-B curve data for an electrical steel within the material library. I'm unsure if I can use a txt file or how to script a new xml with the needed data. I've attached the error and a testing file.

I'm using Elmer 9 gui. I've also referenced this link and the SEMTEC Report Elmer FEM - Induction Machine Tutorial

I would use the free text input field. You can either put the whole material in the text file or just the curve.

Thanks so much. If I used include .txt do I place the file in the material (edf) folder?

The form is going to create

Material 1
name="Hiperco50aA"
End

the free text will show above the end, So I do not think you need the second end in the free field
