Re: Elmer Install on Windows 10 not working
Another way is to partition the volume into two volumes so that there is a boundary where you want to apply the load.

Re: Elmer Install on Windows 10 not working
I got your concept. Actually if the assembly is complex and have to define load point by coordinates (x,y,z) axis,,,,then it will be much simpler.
Whether MATC can define point nodal coordinates.
Whether MATC can define point nodal coordinates.

Re: Elmer Install on Windows 10 not working
I use Salome, very powerful modeler and mesher.
It exports mesh to unv file and ElmerGrid will translate

Dear Friend,
I have checked Target Coordinate Command by Physical Calculation.
The Load shows Equally Distributed and not Point load or line load at target Coordinate.
I have check for both linear and non linear, displacement is same.
Kindly check below and correct myself.

Try with
Boundary Condition 2
Name = "load"
Target Coordinates(1,3) = 500.0 0.0 50.0
Displacement 2 Load = 1.0e+07
End
-- Mika

ELMER Team Must make this Problem Simple.
Load at Exact Point in terms of Coordinates (x,y,z) Must be Able to Define by define by Mouse... Arrow Mark.
