dipole antenna with StatCurrentSolver
Posted: 19 Jun 2023, 00:00
Attached is an example of a dipole antenna and a transient study using StatCurrentSolver.
The dipole was modeled using Elmergrid. The dimensions of the dipole are similar to the case in the below forum post, except the free air is a bit smaller. The dipole antenna is 0.1 meters long and is inside of a cylinder of air that has 0.05 meter radius and 0.2 meter height.

Thanks, Rich.
Edit: changed the attached archive, now the elmergrid model is in meters. Also added an animation from Paraview.
