Hello all ,
I'm trying to get setup a 3d simulation of rotating an electric motor (switched reluctance motor (no magnets just electrical steel stack and stator coils)). I believe a quarter slice is what I should focus on, but I'm unsure where to initially focus my design/ program attention. Should I initially focus on the coils & circuit design? Or should I 1st setup electrical steel material parameters or torque equations & flux-linkage/rotor angle formulas? I've already completed my initial mesh.
My goal now is to just get the motor to rotate.
Thanks,
Austin
